I am a licensed associate professional counselor providing therapy for individuals navigating anxiety and related concerns. I understand that anxiety can look very different from one person to the next, sometimes appearing as constant worry, physical tension, avoidance, intrusive thoughts, or a sense of being “on edge” without knowing exactly why. Without adequate support, anxiety can grow quietly but surely, eventually infiltrating multiple areas of a person’s life such as relationships, work, school, and even one’s sense of self. I believe this is where the therapeutic relationship becomes especially important: creating a safe, supportive space where clients can explore the emotions, beliefs, and experiences underlying their difficulties. Through curiosity, reflection, and collaboration, we can work together toward mutually decided goals that not only feel meaningful, but also attainable. I view therapy as a collaborative and thoughtful process, one in which you are honored as the expert of your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you helping you process challenges and work toward wellness as you define it.

As a developing professional, I recently earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University and successfully obtained the National Certified Counselor (NCC) credential. Before pursuing my graduate education, I graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Psychology. I am currently providing counseling under the supervision of Heather Chapman, LPC, NCC, CPCS at Atlanta Anxiety Care.

Prior to joining Atlanta Anxiety Care, I completed my practicum and internships in a graduate university setting, providing counseling services for young adults and adults experiencing a range of concerns including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks, depression, ADHD, OCD, previous trauma, relationship stress, and life transitions. Naturally, each unique experience with a client only deepened my appreciation for meeting clients where they are and tailoring treatment to their individual needs. While I believe each person’s experience is shaped by a unique combination of individual and societal factors, I also recognize how deeply human and shared many struggles can be. Therefore, I approach counseling with an individualized lens grounded in Person-Centered Therapy, while incorporating evidence-based strategies derived from a Cognitive-Behavioral framework to help clients build insight, flexibility, and practical tools aligned with their goals. As I continue to grow professionally, I am pursuing specialized education in the evidence-based treatment of anxiety disorders and OCD, while remaining open and responsive to the diverse needs clients bring into therapy.

The quality I value most as a therapist is my responsibility to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported. I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel empowered to show up as they are, without the pressure to be “fixed”, and when therapy moves at a pace that feels both intentional and compassionate. My goal is not to tell clients who to be or how to live, but rather to support them in understanding their experiences, strengthening their sense of agency, and creating changes that feel authentic and sustainable.

If you are considering therapy and would like to see whether working together feels like a good fit, I encourage you to reach out and schedule a free 15-minute consultation. It would truly be my pleasure to join you in your journey towards wellness.
